There is a common misconception that busy people are the ones who are employed full-time. Let’s put this thought to rest and understand that in the present day, students, at-home mothers, entrepreneurs, working professionals are all hustling in their way. While there is no denying that the present-day hustle is inevitable, there are some ways and tips to stay healthy throughout the day with some tips and tricks:
- Veggies for Breakfast – Green veggies like spinach, kale, green leafy veggies, smoothies, berries, and yoghurt are some nutritious options to start your day with. You can make a salad bowl or prepare a green smoothie. It’s a great way to start your day.
- Start your day with a Protein-based breakfast – Being the first meal of the day, your breakfast must be healthy. It should provide you with energy and also prevent you from snacking unhealthy. Eggs, overnight oats with some dry fruits and seeds, greek yoghurt with some fun topping, are all amazing protein-rich breakfast ideas.
- Hydration – The importance of water can never be avoided and doesn’t need an explanation, no more! We all are well aware of what lack of water can do to your body, to the skin, so why go the dehydration path. Start your day with a glass of water, before breakfast. Post breakfast, fill up your water bottle, or have a jug of water kept close to your reach so you are reminded of drinking water, all through the day. You can also use water reminder apps that tell you when it is time for you to drink water.
- Meal prepping and planning – Tired and hungry in the morning? You may lack the zeal to invest time and effort into thinking about what to cook today! So, be sure to plan ahead of your time. Planning ahead of time avoids last-minute hassles. Your journey to becoming and adopting healthy habits requires planning and deciding ahead of time.
- Regular Exercise – One can’t stress enough the importance of physical activity. However, the sedentary lifestyle has made most of us couch potatoes and too lazy to invest our time and energy in physical activities and exercises. If working out seems like too much work, try starting with brisk walking. Set your body and your mind for regular exercises gradually.
While we understand that you have already planned your day! Your today’s work, to-do tasks for the day, and are feeling occupied, you must understand that amidst the busy schedule, it is important to take some time out and take a break, have your lunch, take a stroll, and wherever possible incorporate the fitness goals.
